Meet the physician who will engineer the next thirty years of your health for the whole you.
Meet Dr. Kristen Stehling
I’m Dr. Kristen Stehling. After years in hospital medicine taking care of critically ill patients, I kept seeing the same patterns. I saw incredibly sick people suffering at a very young age from highly preventable diseases. Or I saw patients with multiple out of control chronic diseases including type 2 diabetes, coronary artery disease, a silent heart attack in the past that landed them in the ICU in congestive heart failure and atrial fibrillation who all said they were totally healthy until that ICU visit, despite going to the doctor for their annual visits. In my primary care practice, I often see patients who watched a parent or in-law decline in ways that felt preventable. My patients’ annual labs always came back “normal”. While they were provided the standard of care by their previous doctors, their cardiovascular risk was never measured in a comprehensive way. Nobody was looking at their hormones, their metabolic health, and their cognition as one story. They were told in passing to exercise and eat well with no discussion of what that means for them. They were carrying a folder of disconnected reports and quietly bracing themselves to follow the same trajectory their loved one traveled.
And I firmly believe we can do better.
I built Empower Wellness Medical Clinic to be the practice those patients deserved. Centralized care with one physician overseeing your health span and longevity care. The advanced labs most physicals leave out, run on every member. A multi-year partnership with regular visits instead of an annual transaction. The Thriving Vision — strength, energy, and mental clarity into your 70s, 80s, and 90s — is what proactive whole-person preventative medicine can actually produce when it has the time and the right tools.
I am a board-certified family medicine physician and a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine. My osteopathic training is where the whole-person perspective comes from — the body is one system, so the care has to be, too. I am the doctor who considers your cardiovascular, metabolic, hormonal, cognitive, and lifestyle markers together, year after year, and partners with you on the decisions that decide your later decades.

This is personalized, comprehensive longevity care.
Executive Longevity Telehealth Membership at Empower Wellness Medical Clinic starts with your initial longevity labs, medical history and your priorities to build a personalized plan for the most thorough health assessment you’ve ever had. We measure body composition through DEXA. We measure aerobic capacity through VO2 max. We run the advanced labs and genetic testing that decide cardiovascular, metabolic, hormonal, and cognitive trajectory. From the first visit, we are not screening for disease. We are mapping your real longevity baseline.
From there, the practice becomes a partnership. One physician looks at every system together. Your plan is refreshed at every visit, we retest where it matters, and adjust as your health and priorities evolve. Between visits, communication is directed through secure messaging. The membership intentionally accepts a limited number of members so the depth of the relationship is protected. Members are adults 18 and older who are ready to invest in the next several decades of their health.
Three things that make this practice different.
The depth a longevity relationship requires
Standard visits are too short to do longevity work. Membership visits are long enough to review advanced testing, interpret it together along with your current priorities and needs, and build a comprehensive plan around your real health picture and priorities.
One physician, whole person prevention, year after year
You should not be the project manager of your own healthcare. One doctor considers your cardiovascular, metabolic, hormonal, and cognitive markers as one story, and follows that story for years.
Optimal, not normal
Standard lab ranges are statistical averages of our quite unhealthy population, not health goals. We grade you against optimal targets, not against other declining adults in your age bracket. The gap between normal and optimal is where most preventable disease lives.
